Building a corporate brand website and influencing perceptions

CBPE Capital has been an active private equity investor for over 30 years.

They used to operate as Close Brothers Private Equity under their former parent, Close Brothers Group, but have been independent since completing their own management buyout in 2008. The current fund, CBPE Capital IX, closed on capital commitments of £459 million in August 2016.

The Brief

Concerned with being ‘just another private equity investor’ CBPE Capital was looking to re­invent their brand and online presence. Their existing brand and website said very little about who they were or what they were all about so the brief was to solve this problem.

The Solution

CBPE Capital was introduced by our partners Frank, Bright & Abel who were managing the rebranding process.

Working closely with Frank, Bright & Abel we developed the website architecture and wireframes before developing the website using the page layout designs that Frank, Bright & Abel had created.

Development of the website including features such as; a clean and intuitive mobile responsive layout, animated banners & sector icons, news feeds, illustrated charts and flexible and feature-rich content management system.
